Gin Atlas 2 S — An Easier Low B That Keeps Its Feel
What this wing leaves you with is not performance but headroom. In the same turbulence it asks less of your hands than an Ion 5, and 25–30cm of brake is enough to hold the core precisely. Glide is mid-pack for a low B, and 7km/h over trim is not a wing that settles anything on the speed bar. That restraint is the design intent. What a low B pilot actually loses is not a few percent of glide — it is the concentration burned in rough air. The Atlas 2 leaves that concentration intact, and the pilot spends what's left looking for the next thermal. There is nothing here to frighten a pilot fresh out of paragliding school, and enough response left over that several seasons together won't get dull.
