Ziad Bassil's Gear Reviews
Bassil rates the Rook 3 as the best high-end EN-B he has tested. As his verdict that it stood shoulder to shoulder with the EN-D M7 in climb makes clear, this is a wing with an unusually high performance ceiling. But there is a condition. Do not fly it at the bottom of the weight range, he draws that line clearly. Loaded light, the climb and glide this wing can produce stay half asleep. The Rook 3 is not an easy EN-B; it is a high-B that returns near-D performance to the pilot who fills it past the midpoint and flies it actively.
