Some pilots want high-B performance but have no appetite for high-B tension. The CrossRock aims squarely at them. Holding the Mentor 5's glide while halving the workload means the concentration you save goes into finding cores and choosing lines. Over a long flight, that gap widens far beyond anything a performance figure shows. Just don't mistake its soft character for slackness. This wing was proven in strong conditions, and its benchmarks came from the class above. It wasn't built so you could fly comfortably — it was built so that, being comfortable, you could go further.
