Ziad Bassil's Gear Reviews

The Kibo-X is a wing whose controls never stop talking to you. From the direct, immediate turn, to the ability to dig into a narrow core, to easy and stable big ears, it is designed for the pilot to read the wing's state through the fingertips and handle it actively. But this feedback does not pay off equally for everyone. For a pilot with busy hands it becomes a tool for reading the lift; for a pilot who wants the wing to simply float on its own, it can feel restless. This is less a mid-B judged by performance ranking, and more a mid-B that hands back exactly as much hand-feel as you put into flying it actively.
