The S11's strengths are plain. It holds glide and climb on par with the best of the C class, while winding in faster on less brake than the S10 and damping roll far more. It is a more solid wing than its predecessor, and easier to manage overall. That ease isn't free. Bassil notes that the S11's feedback is slightly reduced compared to the S10 — some of the fingertip sensitivity that read the air has been traded for stability. The size 22 still asks for active piloting in rough weather. So reading the S11 as "an easier C" would be a mistake. It has you use less brake and hands back more glide, but in the end it simply delivers the same performance more quietly — it does not lift the responsibility of the C class off the pilot's shoulders.
