Ziad Bassil's Gear Reviews

The Lynx 2's virtue is that it refused to compromise. It's light enough to carry up on foot, packs small, and still doesn't lose ground in glide next to the latest two-liners. Those three usually eat away at one another, but the 2.5-line layout found a balance point between them. That said, it doesn't change the fact that this is an EN-C. Being called light and easy to handle doesn't make it an entry-level wing. The agility to throw a 360 straight into a tight core is fully returned only to the pilot who can actively read and control the canopy. In the end, the Lynx 2 is an uncommon option for the C-class pilot who enjoys the mountains — one that cuts weight and bulk without conceding performance.
