The Fusion Light S's strengths are clear. It's a 6.3 AR high-performance C whose control burden is lighter than the Cure 2 or Artik 5, with climb near the top of the category. But there's a condition attached to the word "easy" here. It doesn't mean the wing forgives a pilot fresh off a B; it means the control cost the pilot pays is low compared with competing wings in the same performance class. The glide isn't finished either — the more the C-risers become second nature, the more it gives. In the end this isn't an easy C, but a wing that returns more pleasure than the effort you put in, provided you're ready to handle what a C can do.
