Ziad Bassil's Gear Reviews

The C6's strengths are clear. The glide angle has improved and the behaviour has softened, making it well suited to XC flying that pushes long distances in comfort. But expect it only as a successor to the C5 and you will be disappointed. The C5's spicy, direct feel has been deliberately erased in the C6, and the glide that replaced it pays off fully only for the pilot chasing distance rather than agility. So the C6 is less an upgrade of the C5 than a wing that changed the very pilot the Cayenne name is aimed at. If you want to talk to your wing in the core, choose the C5; if you want to push far all day, choose the C6.
