It sheds weight, glides shoulder to shoulder with the Cayenne 5, and launches more easily than the wing it borrows from. The performance loss pilots routinely brace for when choosing a light wing is, on the Spice, barely visible. That is not to say it costs nothing. The grip on weak lift and the pitch-back on thermal entry are the price the light cloth pays. If you want a wing that holds you up low and slow on a soft day, look elsewhere.
