Ziad Bassil's Gear Reviews
The Magus's strengths are clear. Brake response sits at the top of the two-liner field, glide is top tier, and the climb is level with the Peak 5. All three axes meet the standard of the highest class exactly. But this performance comes with conditions. Nil-wind launches are demanding, there are moments in turbulence when the tips tuck slightly, and above all it remains a two-liner that asks for respect and pilot know-how. The Magus is not a relaxed XC wing to enjoy. For the pilot who has a two-liner in hand, it gives back exactly as much glide as their skill deserves.
