Ziad Bassil's Gear Reviews

The strengths are clear. Inside that 3.5kg of lightness it packs a climb and glide that sit between the M7 and the Zeno, and adds the B-riser steering that most two-liners can't offer. But this performance is bought by giving up quietness. The Zeolite GT talks to you constantly in turbulence — it won't damp that movement for you. Bassil's observation that the heavier Zeno is actually the less chatty of the two sums the character up in a single line. So this wing earns its keep not in the hands of a pilot chasing a quiet D, but in the hands of an experienced pilot who can answer ceaseless feedback with precision.
